 Announcement
On September 4, 1998 delegates from a dozen associations in ten countries met at the 2nd World Galloway Congress graciously hosted by Bundesverband Deutscher Galloway-Zuchter e.V. in conjunction with the 5. Bundes-Galloway-Schau at Alsfeld, Germany. It was unanimously agreed to form a Galloway World Council whose primary thrust will be promotion of the breed worldwide. The Committee will include two delegates from each participating association, with a working committee of five (the Council) elected for two-year terms to coincide with future meetings tentatively scheduled at Scotland in 2000 and Australia in 2002.
